Cloud WMS

The warehouse under control, down to every pallet

KickOff WMS runs the warehouse from receiving to dispatch: where each pallet sits, how much free space is left, which item is expiring and which order to pack first. All from the browser, in real time, with no local install.

What it is

A warehouse you don't run from memory

In many warehouses the real stock is known only to the person who has worked there for years. Goods are found from memory, entered by hand, and an expired item is discovered only at dispatch.

KickOff WMS replaces memory and the spreadsheet with a single stock record. Every receipt, move and issue of goods is confirmed by scanning a barcode, so stock by location updates instantly and every transaction is logged.

The warehouse map shows the layout of zones, pallets and locations in 2D and 3D, with the stock on each location. You see at once where free space is, and picking follows FIFO and FEFO order — the item that expires first leaves first.

The system is entirely in the cloud and opens in any browser, with no local install and no server in the warehouse. It connects to NG Commerce (orders to fulfill), NG Operations (materials for work orders) and Fleet Stop (tire storage), so the warehouse runs as part of the same flow rather than a separate spreadsheet.

  • Expiry control with automatic alerts (FIFO/FEFO)
  • Packing rules per product type and priority by delivery deadline
  • Stocktaking and control without shutting the warehouse down
  • Analytics: stock by quantity, value and location, dispatch performance
  • Multiple warehouses and locations from one account, in the browser
How it works

From receiving to dispatch

Goods move through the warehouse in one flow, each step confirmed by scanning — no re-keying and no paperwork left behind.

  1. 01

    Receiving

Incoming goods are scanned and matched to the announced order or receiving note. Instead of re-keying, quantity and item are confirmed by barcode, and batch and expiry are captured on the spot.

  2. 02

    Putaway and locations

Received goods are assigned a location on the warehouse map. The system suggests where there is room, and every shelf, pallet and zone has its own barcode, so every move is recorded.

  3. 03

    Picking

For each order the system builds a pick list along the shortest route and in FIFO/FEFO order. Orders with a nearing delivery deadline take priority.

    Packing and dispatch

Packing follows the rules for the product type, and the system generates labels with address and package ID by itself. The dispatch note and courier handover close the order.

    Stocktaking and control

Stocktakes are done by scanning, without shutting the warehouse down. Differences show up at once, and expiry alerts keep items from sitting on the shelf too long.

Capabilities

What you get

Features that cover the warehouse from the map and barcodes to stocktaking and analytics. Each works in real time, on the same stock record.

  • 2D/3D warehouse map

Zones, shelves, pallets and locations in 2D and 3D, with the stock on each one. Empty and half-empty space is visible at a glance.

  • Barcodes and labels

Printing of unique barcodes for items and locations. Scanning is faster and more accurate than manual entry, and every transaction is logged in real time.

  • Locations and pallets

Every shelf, pallet and zone carries its own barcode and its own stock. Moves are always recorded, so you never lose track of where things are.

  • Expiry control

Expiry and batch tracking with automatic alerts. FEFO rotation prevents issuing expired items — essential for food and pharmaceuticals.

  • Optimized picking

A pick list along the shortest route and in FIFO order, with priority for orders whose delivery deadline is near.

  • Packing and dispatch

Standardized packing rules per product type and automatic labels with address and package ID. Dispatch runs in order of delivery deadlines.

  • Stocktaking and control

Cyclic and full stocktakes by scanning, without shutting the warehouse down. Differences against system stock show up immediately.

  • Real-time inventory

Stock by location changes with every receipt, move and issue. No overnight reconciliations and no lagging spreadsheet.

  • Analytics and reporting

Stock by quantity, value and location, dispatch performance, sales trends and warehouse efficiency — in decision-ready reports.

  • Customs processing

Handling of goods under customs supervision, with the records needed for customs procedures and release from a customs warehouse.

  • Cloud and browser access

The whole system runs in the cloud and scales with your volume. It opens in any browser, with no server in the warehouse and encrypted data.

  • Integrations with NG systems

Orders from NG Commerce, materials for work orders from NG Operations and tire storage for Fleet Stop — the warehouse as part of the same flow.

FAQ

KickOff WMS — FAQ

Does KickOff WMS require an installation?

No. KickOff WMS is a cloud solution and opens in any browser, with no local install and no server in the warehouse. All you need is a device with internet access, and data is stored encrypted.

How does expiry control work?

Every item carries an expiry date and a batch, so the system issues goods in FEFO order — the one that expires first goes out first. Automatic alerts fire as the date approaches and prevent issuing expired items. This matters especially for food and pharmaceuticals.

How does the warehouse map work?

The map shows the warehouse layout in 2D and 3D — zones, shelves, pallets and locations, with the stock on each location in real time. It shows at once where free space is, which helps you use warehouse capacity better.

Can it connect to NG Commerce and other systems?

Yes. KickOff WMS pulls orders from NG Commerce and feeds back the fulfillment status, supplies work orders from NG Operations with materials, and handles tire storage for Fleet Stop. The warehouse runs as part of the same flow rather than a separate record.

Does it support multiple warehouses and locations?

Yes. From one account you run several warehouses and locations, each with its own stock and map. During rollout we adapt the process to each location — from the zone layout to the packing rules.

How long does implementation take?

It depends on the size of the warehouse, the number of items and locations, and the systems to connect. Rollout starts with assessment and customization, continues with labelling locations and training staff, and the warehouse goes live in phases — you do not wait for the end of the project.

How is pricing determined?

On request. Pricing depends on the size of the warehouse, the number of locations and items, the required integrations and the support level. After a short conversation about your processes you get a rollout proposal and an estimate.
