A fiscal receipt without a fiscal register
Fiscalization is mandatory for every retail sale, but the classic route — a cash register or an L-PFR device with a printer — makes no sense for a store with no counter and no paper. NG eFiscal meets the same legal requirement in software.
NG eFiscal sends every paid order straight through the V-PFR — the Tax Authority's virtual fiscal receipt processor. No cash register, no printer, no dedicated device: fiscalization happens in the cloud, at the very moment the order is paid, and returns a fiscal receipt number, a digital signature and a tax breakdown by rate.
The system is approved as an ESIR of class 3 (approval number 1587/1.0.0, approved on 6 January 2026). It integrates in two ways: over a REST API, for any existing ERP or a storefront with its own logic, or natively inside NG Commerce, where every paid order is fiscalized with no extra step. Tax rates are pulled automatically from the Tax Authority, so there is no manual rate maintenance.
Signing a receipt requires a security element — a digital certificate (.pfx) — and its security code, both issued by the Tax Authority. Every issued receipt carries a QR code and a verification link, is rendered as a PDF and reaches the customer by email, alongside a public verification page. The record is immutable and append-only, and built-in retry and recovery mean no receipt is ever lost or duplicated — even when the connection to the V-PFR briefly fails.

- Software fiscalization of every paid order through the V-PFR, with no hardware
- All prescribed receipt types: sale, advance, refund, training, copy
- Automatic tax-rate retrieval from the Tax Authority
- QR code, verification link and a public receipt verification page
- Receipt delivery by email with a downloadable PDF
- Security element (.pfx certificate) and security code for signing
- Immutable, append-only record of every issued receipt
- Automatic retry and recovery — receipts are never lost or duplicated
- Integration over a REST API or natively in NG Commerce
From a paid order to a fiscal receipt
Fiscalization is a few steps that run automatically, within seconds of payment. Each hands the next one structured data — not a PDF and not an email.
- 01
Setup
A one-time step loads the security element and security code, connects the company to the V-PFR and pulls the tax rates. From there the system runs without manual upkeep.

Fiscalization request
A paid order — from NG Commerce or any system over the API — triggers a request. The receipt type is chosen and, where required, the buyer is identified.

Processing through the V-PFR
The request is signed by the security element and sent to the Tax Authority's V-PFR. Back come the fiscal receipt number (PFR number), a digital signature and a tax breakdown by rate.

NG eFiscal — FAQ
Do I need a cash register or a printer?
No. NG eFiscal is a software ESIR of class 3 — fiscalization runs through the Tax Authority's V-PFR in the cloud, with no cash register, no printer and no dedicated device. The customer receives the receipt as a PDF by email, with a QR code and a verification link.
Is NG eFiscal officially approved for fiscalization?
Yes. It is approved as an ESIR of class 3 by the Serbian Tax Authority, approval number 1587/1.0.0, dated 6 January 2026. It fiscalizes all prescribed receipt types: sale, advance, refund, training and copy.
What do we need to get started?
A security element — a digital certificate (.pfx) — and its security code, both issued by the Tax Authority, plus the company tax ID. Once these are loaded a single time, the system connects to the V-PFR, pulls the tax rates and is ready to work.
How does it connect to our system?
Two ways. Over the REST API you can connect any existing ERP or a storefront with its own logic — requests are idempotent, so they are safe to resend. In NG Commerce fiscalization is already built in and fires the moment an order is paid.
Which receipt types does it support?
All prescribed ones: sale, advance, refund, training and copy. The receipt type and any buyer identification (tax ID) are passed along with the fiscalization request.
What happens if the connection to the Tax Authority fails?
The request retries automatically until it goes through, with protection against duplication, so no receipt is lost or issued twice. Every issued receipt stays in an immutable, append-only record ready for audit.
How is pricing determined?
On request. Pricing depends on transaction volume, the integration method and the support level you need. After a short conversation about your sales system you get a connection proposal and an estimate.
